Venture partnership
Continuous penetration testing for the UK public sector
A co-owned product combining Revelion’s autonomous penetration-testing technology with Invision360’s public-sector reach.
Context
Most councils and public bodies have never had penetration testing done properly. Where it happens, it is usually an annual exercise that is out of date within weeks.
Revelion had the technology. Invision360 had the trust and the route to market across local government.
The problem
Continuous security testing is well understood in the private sector and largely absent in the public sector, where budgets are tight and procurement is slow.
Neither party could reach the market alone at the speed the problem required.
What we built
Invision Protect, a co-branded product bringing continuous, AI-driven penetration testing to public bodies.
Two delivery models: Do With You, where the client’s own team runs the testing, and Done For You, where it is managed and run for them.
UK-run and UK-hosted as standard, with fully sovereign self-hosted deployment available through CHMS Cyber Security for the strictest data requirements.
Outcome
A jointly owned product with joint go-to-market, rather than a supplier relationship on either side.
This is what a venture partnership looks like in practice: both sides put something in rather than one invoicing the other.
Technical and security
Autonomous, AI-driven penetration testing rather than periodic manual assessment.
UK-run and UK-hosted by default; sovereign self-hosted deployment available.
